Some Notes about Fieldwork Practice :
 
1. Enjoy your Placement.  Maybe you feel difficulties about your practice, you may feel frustration about your experience or    ......  Yet, please feel easy and enjoy your placement.  This is an invaluable experience for you to understand both yourself and social work practices.  Be positive towards challenges and you may have learnt a lot from this placement.

2. You are encouraged to read Fieldwork Manual thoroughly before you start your placement.

3. Please note that you are an representative in the field.  So, you should develop a good work habits such as being punctual, polite and etc......

4. You are encouraged to express your own ideas in supervision and to take initiative for your learning.

5. Student should hand in his/her paperwork on time.  Usually proposals and session plans should hand in to supervisor before one week of the programs / groups / case interviews / home visits.  Then, all proposals / session plans must be submitted to the agency for approval prior to the actual actions.

6. Student needs to record down all his/her works done.  This included recordings for group meetings, evaluation for mass programs and etc......

7. Please be reminded that all written materials must be reviewed by supervisor before you submit to your agency.

8. Proposed Assignments (Paperwork) : Orientation Report, Learning Contract, Day Logs, Proposal and Evaluation Reports / Recording, Hand-over Report, Self Evaluation and etc......

9. Student is encouraged to read related material in the placement in order to facilitate the student to integrate related knowledge for the practice.

10. Last but not the least, please Not mind your marks about your placement.  Forget it and try your best for your placement.
